Kruzenshtern has never had a single archive of documents, photos and videos. For the 90th anniversary of the vessel the shipowner tried to collect at least some pictures of a sailing ship and her crews of different periods using personal archives of those who once served, worked and studied on the sailing ship. One shouldn’t judge them for the unwillingness to share their photographic evidence because each "a" Kruzenshtern.

This section of the website will be constantly updated. Surely there are other materials worth to be published. We are grateful to everyone who shares them because he does it for the Kruzenshtern and her history.

Much of the credit for the ordering of materials and collecting historical information belongs to Christina Maria Hieber - a great connoisseur of the history of Kruzenshtern and the sailing fleet.
